Free "Music in the Park"
"Music In The Park," a free summer concert series, will offer a variety of musical sounds in three Chula Vista parks through Aug. 17. Featured bands will play music ranging from R&B and Latin jazz to Big Band, surfing and oldies. All of the concerts will be presented on Sundays from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
The second concert of the series is scheduled for June 22 and will feature David Elhoff and Cool Fever performing down home blues. The concert will be held at Salt Creek Recreation Center, located at 2710 Otay Lakes Rd.
In its 46th year, this annual musical event is presented by the Chula Vista Public Library Foundation, in cooperation with the Chula Vista Public Library.
