The San Diego Chargers will be conducting a Junior Training Camp for boys and girls ages 7 through 14 on Tuesday, November 20. It will be held in Discovery Park, 700 Buena Vista Way in Chula Vista from 4 to 6 p.m.

 

The free mini-camp is limited to 100 children on a first-come, first serve basis. To pre-register for the camp, go to www.chulavistaca.gov/recreation. Children must wear athletic shoes and dress appropriately for active participation. Some of the drills include running, throwing and catching footballs.

 

The event is hosted by the City of Chula Vista Recreation Department in conjunction with STAR/PAL. STAR stands for Sports, Training, Academics and Recreation and PAL is the Police Activities League. STAR/PAL has sponsored other camps throughout San Diego County with the San Diego Chargers.
