LOCAL AUTHOR TO DISCUSS SPORTS AND RELATIONSHIPS
Are sports causing problems in your relationships with loved ones? Author Craig Bender will present “Sports Fan 101: Score the Balance in Your Relationship” at the Chula Vista Civic Center Library. The goal of “Sports Fan 101” is to help personal relationships by opening communication between non-sports fans and sports fans. The presentation will be on Jan. 19 at 2 p.m. in the auditorium of the Civic Center Library, located at 365 F St.
“Sports Fan 101” is the title of Bender’s book about creating a world of understanding and compromise by bridging the communication gap between the sports fans and non-fans of the world. Bender says the book can help minimize some of the daily stresses and anxieties people deal with that are often difficult to talk about.
Sports Fan 101 is NOT intended to turn non-fans into sports fans or to teach them how to play the sports themselves. The goal is to help your relationship -- one conversation at a time.
