Fatburger opens in Chula Vista
Fatburger, a Los Angeles-based quick-service burger chain, has opened its second San Diego County location this month in Chula Vista.
Fatburger has joined its sister brand Hurricane Grill & Wings in a now dual-restaurant concept at 2040 Birch Road, M101, in Chula Vista. This is the first time the two brands have done business in the same location. There is also a stand-alone Fatburger location in Escondido.
Founded more than 70 years ago by Lovie Yancy, Fatburger serves cooked-to-order burgers with many optional toppings, including bacon and eggs. It also serves turkey burgers, chicken sandwiches, ice cream milkshakes and fries. Visit fatburger.com.
