Three Good Samaritans Rescue Driver After Dramatic Car Plunge

Chula Vista, CA – Three brave individuals are being hailed as heroes after rescuing a driver whose car careened off the second story of a parking garage on July 30.

The incident occurred at approximately 2:00pm in the 300 block of H Street. Upon arrival, Chula Vista Police officers found a gray sedan overturned on the ground below the parking structure.

Eyewitness accounts revealed that the vehicle had plummeted from the second floor, with the driver, the sole occupant, trapped inside. Without hesitation, three passersby rushed to assist the injured woman. Working together, they managed to free her from the wreckage by cutting her seatbelt.

The driver, who remained conscious throughout the ordeal, was transported to a local hospital for evaluation of minor injuries.

In recognition of their heroic actions, Chula Vista Police presented the three good Samaritans with $50 gift cards as a token of appreciation for their selfless and immediate response.
